DRIVER'S
LICENSE
The hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a full and
valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years up to and
including the time of hire and that license.. A driving
license from the country of residence or an International
Driver's Permit is generally acceptable, provided valid as
above
DRIVER
The hirer
and/or authorized driver must be over 23 years of age and
under 70 years of age. The hirer and/or authorized driver
must also be in possession of a proper means of
identification other than a driver's license.
DEPOSIT Full payment of the period of hire and for the
estimated distance is to be made when taking over the car.
In addition to a deposit of US$ 1000 is required from a
hirer. The deposit is refundable upon safe return of the
vehicle less any outstanding invoices.
Windscreens, Broken glasses/lenses, loss of tires and tools
are responsibility of the hirer.
INSURANCE
A compulsory
daily insurance charge is payable by the hirer. All our
vehicles are insured but in all cases, the hirer is
responsible for repairs arising from damage to the vehicle
to a tune of US$. 120/- or 10%, whichever is greater. In the
event the cost of repairs is less than US$ 120-, the hirer
will meet the entire cost. Windscreen and broken glass are
the responsibility of the hirer. Loss of tires & tools are
not covered by CDW.
CAR HIRE
AGREEMENT
Self drive
cars are hired subject to the company's standard form of
agreement notwithstanding the above conditions the company
reserves the right to refuse a hirer at anytime without
assigning any reason.
SECURITY:
Collision
Damage Insurance :( CDI).
When CDI is declined, the renter’s financial responsibility
will be the full value of the damage to the vehicle and loss
related expenses: regardless of fault. If CDI is accepted
the renter’s responsibility (Non waiver responsibility) will
be US$ 810 for smaller vehicles and US$ 1100
for larger vehicles.
Theft
Protection Insurance (TPI):
When TPI is declined, the renters financial responsibility
in case of theft will be the full value of the damage to the
vehicle and loss and related expenses, regardless of fault.
If TPI is accepted the renters financial responsibility (Non
Waiver Responsibility) will be for smaller vehicles US$
810 and for bigger vehicles US$ 1100.
Chauffeur driven rates are applicable during working hours
(8. am - 6pm).
Drivers overtime charges after 6pm are US$ 1.80 per
hour.
The hirer must be between the age of 23 and 70
years.
TERMS OF
PAYMENT
Payments can
be made by Travelers cheques, Cash payment, cheques and Bank
Deposits.
The total
cost of the rental will be charged on completion excluding
fuel.
Inclusive of
1060 kilometers free per week and US$ 0.70 per extra
kilometer. Rates are inclusive of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW),
and Theft Protection Insurance (TPI)
Inclusive of 4000 kilometers free and US$ 0.44 per extra
kilometer. Rates are not inclusive of Collision Damage
Waiver (CDW), and Theft Protection Insurance (TPI).
