Location:

Set on the banks of the Rufiji River in the northeastern sector of the Selous Game Reserve, Selous Safari Camp offers an exceptional Southern Tanzanian safari in one of the largest protected and untouched wilderness reserves in the world.  

Teeming with African wildlife, the Selous is home to enormous herds of elephant, large journeys of giraffe, lion and leopard. Guests may enjoy guided bush walks which allow observation of the 2 000 species of plants, as well as game viewing from intimate riverboats.

Raised on wooden platforms and well-spaced for privacy, each safari tent features a dressing area, hand basins and w.c, an outdoor shower and a spacious veranda. All suites have lovely water views of either the river or the lakes.
Guest areas comprise spacious sitting, dining and bar areas, elevated on stilts with sweeping views of the mighty Rufiji River.

Dining: Guests may enjoy delicious Pan-African cuisine served in the dining area or a sumptuous bush banquet in a surprise setting 

Additional Facilities:  A generous swimming pool which allows for exercise or simply cooling off in the heat of the day.  

Activities:  interpretive game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles and guided bush walks led by professional  rangers or enjoy game-viewing from intimate riverboats.
