This remote and
little visited region boasts some of the most inspirational
safari locations in all Africa. Everybody in the know wants
to visit the two great parks of Mahale and Katavi, but
amazingly neither reserve manages to attract more than one
hundred international visitors each year.
As well as being the premium location in all Africa for
viewing chimpanzees in the wild, Mahale Mountains is also a
stunningly beautiful lakeshore location, with superb white
sand beaches and gin clear water for swimming.
Mahale Zoë’s Camp/ Grey Stock.
An utterly dream-like camp, on a white sand beach by a
gin-clear lake, where the forest clad Mahale Mountains
plunge into the legendary depths of Lake Tanganyika.
