Lake Manyara Tree
Lodge is set in the heart of a mahogany forest, and is the
only lodge in the diverse Lake Manyara National Park in
northern Tanzania. From soaring groundwater forests and a
tranquil lake, to the mountain escarpment of the Great Rift
Valley, Lake Manyara National Park boasts an incredible
wealth of habitats and diverse African wildlife.
Guests are offered an exciting, interpretive safari
experience in game-rich surrounds which include large herds
of elephant and buffalo. The Lodge, which was designed to
exert minimal impact on the environment, is situated in the
remote southwestern region of the Parks.

E
Unoto Retreat
E Unoto Retreat has been
methodically developed and constructed with all
environmental issues and theme concepts in mind. Our lodge
resembles an “Authentic Tanzania Maasai Village” and fits in
with the surroundings in a most indigenous manner.
The construction methods used by Maasai are as what is
expected from nomadic pastoralists. Even though the factors
regarding the construction methods of the Maasai have been
incorporated into the methods used in the concept and
construction of the lodge, the construction methods and
materials of E Unoto Retreat are much more aesthetically
astounding and lasting. The handcrafted and imported
furnishings and fittings only complement our overall theme.
Kirurumu
Tented Lodge
Kirurumu
Tented Lodge is set high on the edge of the Great Rift
Valley, enjoying a marvellous, uplifting and panoramic view
eastward over Lake Manyara - nestling beneath the scarp -
the Rift floor and Mt. Losimingori. Behind Kirurumu, the
Ngorongoro Highlands rise in green and fertile splendour and
form the gateway to the Ngorongoro Crater and, finally,
Olduvai Gorge and the Serengeti
